ADL Smartcare specialises in matching people to
equipment, enabling them to maintain an independent lifestyle. As
such we are proud to be an active partner in promoting this year's
International Conference on Ageing, Disability and Independance
(ICADI), which is to be held from the 7th-10th September in
Newcastle.
ADL Smartcare is an active partner in a project
to improve telewoundcare management through developing an economic
service model to underpin the telewound service and creating
products to spread this model to other communities. Further details

ADL Smartcare is taking an active role in the
debate about how Engineers can respond to the challenge of our
ageing population. ADL Smartcare is pleased to support the
Institution of Mechanical Engineers 2 day workshop on 'Engineering

Following the above workshop and an interview with Prof. Peter Gore, an
article was published in Professional Engineering Magazine
discussing inclusive design - creating products usable by everyone:
"Get A Grip" by Lee Hibbert.
