The Team
The following people are key members of staff with whom you may
have contact:

Professor Peter Gore
(Managing Director)
Graduating from Loughborough University with a Master's
degree in Engineering Design, he has worked in healthcare product
design for over 20 years, and health & social care since 1994.
A founding member of the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Ageing
Panel, he has been an expert evaluator in the field of Ageing for
the European Commission for many years, and for 5 years supported
them as a Project Technical Assistant. Recently involved in the
healthy ageing agenda of AGEACTION - a European project, he
continues to work with industry, social care providers, and
researchers etc. to help improve the lives of older and disabled
people.
In 2007 Peter was appointed a Professor of Practice at the
University of Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in Ageing &
Vitality, however he remains actively involved in the company.

Stephen Miller
(Head of Systems and Business Operations)
Stephen's team manages the development and administration of ADL
Smartcare Limited's systems. Stephen is experienced in managing the
development of complex systems but with an easy to use
interface.

Bob Dunigan (Director)
An experienced manager with many years of success within an
industrial setting.

Sarah Gore
(Manager of Knowledge Network)
A trained nurse with many years experience working with
older people and equipment solutions, in both hospital and
community settings. Sarah heads up the team that manages the
knowledge in the ADL Smartcare systems. Part of this role is to
spend many hours with Professional's from all over the UK gleaning
their knowledge to embed it into the systems.
Linda Farr
(Company Secretary)
A trained accountant with many years experience of
working with many different types of business.
Helen Skelton
(Special Projects)
Helen has had a long career within IT in a Government
Dept and is assisting us with policies, procedures and internal
systems. She brings a wealth of knowledge and provides additional
experience and insight into working with Government Depts and
larger organisations.
Joy
Lodge
(Data Analyst)
Joy is a Cambridge graduate who assists data capture,
management and reporting. Joy helps develop the complex algorithms
used in the ADL Smartcare Ltd systems.

Katie Ellison
(Administrative Assistant)
Katie has excellent organisational skills and helps
with administration in the office and data entry.
Richard
Shaw
(Web Developer)
A Computer Science graduate, Richard supports the
development of the company's web-based applications. Richard
also provides technical support for both our customers and
staff.
Charlie
MacPhail
(Customer Relations Development
Officer)
Charlie is a Sheffield Masters
Graduate who assists the capture and entry of data whilst also
providing a role in customer support. Charlie also supports the
National Catalogue and is involved in customer implementation.
